What’s New in Hyrule Warriors Legends

We all know that the number one question that will be asked when Hyrule Warriors Legends launches this week is, "Should I buy this game again if I already own it on Wii U?" Well, if you have read our review, you will see that our answer to that question is yes. But, don't just take it form me.

New Content in Ori and the Blind Forest Is On Point

Ori and the Blind Forest received a perfect 10/10 score form us at Games Reviews and for good reason. This is by far one of the best games I have ever played. Graphically it is superb, audibly outstanding, and it plays almost flawlessly. When it was announced that more content was being added to the game, and that there was a definitive edition, we realized we were getting a second chance to gush about this fabulous game.

Return to PoPoLoCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale Review 3D

If you remember, last year when Story of Seasons launched on the 3DS, we coverd it ... a lot! I was doing weekly diary entries about where I was at in the game. I was hoping to do something similar this time around, but unfortunately this title doesn't really allow for that type of article writing. However, we have published a lot of preview coverage which I will link below. However, it's now time to put a score on this wonderful title. For more context, ...

Hyrule Warriors Legends Review

Outside of a few consistent releases - I'm thinking primarily of the Mario and Sonic titles - many Nintendo games don't find a home on both Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. However, the Hyrule Warriors title - a spin off of the Dragon Warriors series - has landed on both. While the 3DS does have more content than the Wii U version, is it necessarily worth purchasing on handheld, or for a second time? We think so!

Microsoft Working on Digital Trade Ins?

A survey from Microsoft which popped up on Reddit today indicated that the video game and software company was toying with the idea of offering a trade-in for digital purchases. While the trade in amount would not be much – a mere 10% if the survey is to believed – it would be better than nothing if you truly don’t want to play the game anymore. On a 60.00 game, consumers would only be getting 6 dollars back. Ideally, the…

Best RPG Value on Xbox One / PS4 – Elder Scrolls Online

I've been toying with writing up articles on the best valued Video Games in specific categories. I think its worth discussing because as the price of games rises - at least here in Canada, where a new released comes in at 79.99 - 84.99 compared to 59.99 a few years ago - what we can afford as consumers drastically decreases. We go for value in our games. Value for an individual is often not a constant. For one person, an amazing story has lots of value, ...

Playstation VR Preorders Available March 22nd

If you want to get your hands on Playstation VR, plan to be at a computer at 10:00 AM Eastern time. I have a feeling that, like Oculus, this will sell out...quickly. The pre-sale bundles will be exclusive to this initial preorder window, so if you plan on getting it on day one, perhaps preordering now would be a wise idea. Here is what is included, from Sony PR:

The Key to Great Video Game PR

When I came on board with GamesReviews I was a nobody. I had just finished my Master's Degree at the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. I was back at my dad's diesel shop working on trucks and tractors. This was just suppose to be a causal writing hobby job to keep me sharp as I looked for something more in my field. That was in January of 2014. It's been over two years, and so many things have changed, all thanks to some great PR.
