The Most Popular Video Games in eSports

For many people, it is hard to believe that video games went from a fun, kids’, pastime, to a multimillion-dollar industry. The number of video games being sold and produced has drastically increased in the past decade, and video games have become a lot more mature, cinematic, and respected by the mainstream.

With the popularity of video games, comes the popularity of competitive gaming, or e-sports (shorthand for electronic sports). Video game competitions have been around since the arcades of the 20th century, but it was only recently that the world of eSports has become a massive, global phenomenon.

With eSports’ massive popularity, of course, come the people who like to spice up these competitions by starting up betting pools. Esports has become a very popular sport to bet on, surpassing certain, more traditional sports, which have been a staple of the betting world. eSports betting can only get bigger in the future, with the advent of online casinos like Novibet casino, which not only allow for gambling fans to play their favorite casino games from the comfort of home but also allow for bet placements on most of the popular betting sports out there.

For those unfamiliar with the world of eSports, in this article we will take a look at the most popular games in the world of eSports.
