Bam Box – November 2016

I’m going to be completely honest: the October Bam Box was a pretty big miss for me in terms of content and overall quality. There were many items inside that were incredibly disappointing, and easily overshadowed the few quality items. This month’s box was a definite improvement, although with new changes I’m not sure I like!

The obvious winner in this box – in my opinion – is the Betty Boop comic book signed by artist Ken Haeser. The book looks great, and also comes with a certificate of authenticity. Some lucky Bam Box subscribers received a sketch cover variant of the print. I wish I was one of those people, but I suppose I can always head to Bam Box’s new community page to see if someone is trading it!

Subscribers could also get one of 4 pins this month featuring your favorite South Park characters. I got Chef, which while not my favorite, is still a great pin. I’ve always been impressed with the pins Bam Box includes with their subscriptions – the quality is always top of the line, and they partner with some great pop culture franchises as well!

If you are a fan of the Simpsons and crazy art, you will love one of the items in this months box. The Homer Simpson metal art print is phenomenal, and just crazy enough to catch the attention of those that see it displayed on your wall. I’m not a huge fan of the Simpsons myself, but have family members who are. I think I have a great, WACKY Christmas gift for someone…

This months Bam Box was full of prints – some signed, some not – which includes a print of Beaves and Butt Head attack Rick and Morty. This seems to be an item that you’ll need to have a widespread enjoyment for both franchises to really enjoy. Thankfully I do, and I thin the print is brilliant!

The other print this month was of cosplayer Kristen Lanae playing Jessica Rabbit, the wife of Roger Rabbit. The quality of the print is great, and the time and effort that Kristen put into playing that character is very evident. Unfortunately, cosplaying just isn’t something I’m really into, but I know a lot of people that will enjoy getting this item this month.

Conclusion

This months box was a HUGE improvement over last month, in my opinion. For the pop culture fan, this is still the best box on the market, regardless of the price. THe number of unique items that this company is able to acquire is above and beyond what any other company is doing. Giving them your hard earned cash is rewarded much more often than not; the same cannot be said about other companies that include incredibly cheap and worthless items in their boxes.
