Video games have been delighting kids for nearly four decades now, right back to systems like the Atari 2600, and the market has just continued to grow and grow. Particularly for those adults that used to love playing games as a child and now continue to do so into adulthood.

Where gaming is now a multi-billion pound industry, it comes as no surprise then that there are number games that have been turned into slot machines over the years and I am not just talking about the EA loot box system. But there are still many games that haven’t made the leap yet, and Americancasinos.com are going to look at some of them.

One of the biggest games, from one of the biggest publishers, Blizzard is World of Warcraft, at its peak, it seemed like everyone, and their grandmother was playing World of Warcraft, it has even spawned a Movie based on the franchise, but so far it hasn’t made the leap to a slot machine. No doubt this is highly likely to the way that Blizzard controls it’s IP, and so it is unlikely to make the leap, but you could do a lot with it.

World of Warcraft would lend itself well to a slot machine; you could pick a class when you start playing and see different icons and images related to that class as you spin the reels. You could pick up potions, and gold and other things like that which would all work really well on a slot machine. There could be a number of bonus features or ‘raids’ which would all fit in the style of the game.

Following on from World of Warcraft, there are a number of other Blizzard properties which would also work well as slot machines. Both Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone are based on particular aspects of World of Warcraft, as well as a number of other characters from Blizzard’s franchises. With Hearthstone already being card themed, it would match perfectly with a slot machine, you could spin the reels and land random spells, or summon random minions all from the game, you have classes much like in World of Warcraft, so picking a particular class could theme all of the reels to match icons and images from that class.

Flipping to Heroes of the Storm, this features a whole roster of different characters as well as things like flags and heroic emblems that would all work well on a slot machine setting. You could have wins if you spin heroes from matching franchises and the like which would give you bonuses.

Finally, the last Blizzard property is one of their biggest when it comes to eSports, and that is Overwatch. Again you have a cast of unique characters and icons that represent their ultimate abilities. You could easily make a slot machine around this theme, and use characters such as Tracer and D.VA to appear on the reels and match to win big.
