More Thoughts From Me: My Hokko Life Hype
I looked on the Nintendo Switch eshop today and I saw that Hokko Life is now listed in the ‘Coming Soon’ section. Hokko Life is an upcoming simulation game that I am super excited about. You know how much I love Animal Crossing right? Well, Hokko Life is a game in that vein, with some awesome new stuff. I’m so excited for this game. Let’s talk about it.
Hokko Life is now listed in the ‘Coming Soon’ section of the Nintendo Switch eshop. The game comes out on September 27th. And I am so excited for this game!
Why am I excited for it?
Hokko Life is a life sim where you live in a small town with a bunch of animals and help them out and do a bunch of other things. I know this sounds familiar but Hokko Life has a bunch of things that separate it from that other game.
For instance, you can design your own furniture! The eshop listing says you do this by taking shapes and materials and using the in-game editor. I’ve seen of the stuff that people have created on the PC version and its very impressive! I love that it says you can visit a forest or a mine to collect materials to build stuff.
Not only that, but you can also design wallpaper, flooring and clothes. Your animals can wear the clothes.
Oh and one of my favorite things? You can place buildings wherever you want in town! Every house can be customized inside too.
Hokko Life also has farming, fishing, and bug hunting. I love fishing and I’m happy to report the game has fishing tournaments too. An animal in a screenshot mentions them.
And if all that isn’t enough, Hokko Life has a city area too. It looks so much better than City Folk or New Leaf’s cities. Whew. Oh man. There’s just so much to see and do in Hokko Life. The Coming soon listing has just made me even more excited for this game.
