Tony Hawk 1 & 2 Getting Remastered – No Nintendo Switch Version

Teased by Tony Hawk earlier today, and then confirmed with a trailer around noon, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 are being remastered for a September 4th launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Noticeablly absent from the launch trailer was that beautiful Nintendo Switch logo. Could it come in the future?

The game promises to pack a ton of nostalgia for fans, along with new ways to play – using analog sticks to perform tricks as opposed to the traditional D-pad used in the originals. The game will also bring back all the iconic levels in stunning 4K, along with the original skaters, much of the original music, and so much more.

One of the best parts of Tony Hawk games has been the skate park creator, and that will also be making a comeback in this release. There is also a plan to add in new goals and achievements, along a host of other items yet to be shown off and announced. The game is set to retail for 39.99 USD.

Here is the trailer form this morning:

It is a bit disappointing to see that the game will not be coming to Nintendo Switch, at least not at launch. The reason behind this has yet to be discussed, but in the coming days and weeks, we fully expect some statement around the lack of Nintendo Switch support.

Will you be picking up this remastered collection on September 4th?
