If you were searching about “Tom Brady Super Bowl wins,” Google would give you hundreds of articles detailing his matches, where millions of Super Bowl fans have been cheering him on.

Yet, after 20 years, fans may have already forgotten the records he created in football history when he finally left the New England Patriots. Let’s recap, shall we?

Mark of Brady’s legend

Tom joined the Patriots back in the 2000 NFL Draft, where he was only chosen after the sixth round of the drafts and gave him the overall rank of 199.

It wasn’t until 2002 that he offered his first Super Bowl win to the Patriots after defeating St. Louis Ram with 20-17.

Truth be told, he wasn’t the first choice for the quarterback position of his team. But when Drew Bledsoe tended an injury when he was facing the NY Jets, it gave Tom the chance to showcase his football skills.

During his stay with the Patriots, Brady had eventually led the team to their second and third Super Bowl wins back in 2003 and 2004 against the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles. Unfortunately, the team failed to take home the trophy for two consecutive Super Bowl appearances in 2007 and 2011 when they competed with the incredible New York Giants.

After being standby for a decade, the Patriots obtained their fourth Super Bowl win in 2015. The same year, Brady received the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award after clashing with then defending champions Seattle Seahawks at 28-24.

Now, in 2017, Tom reached a new level in his career when he made an epic comeback in overtime to beat their opponent, Atlanta Falcons, with the score of 34-28 to take home his fifth Super Bowl win.

As if that wasn’t enough, Brady eventually earned his sixth Super Bowl win back in 2019 for the Patriots in a match against the Los Angeles Rams with the lowest-scoring game of 13-3 throughout the Super Bowl history!

It wasn’t long until Tom decided to add the seventh trophy for his Super Bowl win collection just this 2021. He led the Tamba Bay Buccaneers in a crushing victory of 31-9 in a match against the mighty Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes.

Since the beginning of his career, there have been 21 attempts in winning the Super Bowl. Overall, Brady had a winning statistic of 1 out of 3, which gives the sports fan the idea that Tom can earn his eighth Super Bowl win in the future games.

What other things could Brady offer?

Aside from his outstanding achievement of gathering 7 Super Bowl wins, Tom has also been recognized with the following awards:

  • Most combined passing yards in NFL history at 91,653
  • Most NFL Championship won by a player at 7
  • Most combined touchdown passes at 664
  • Having the most games won by a quarterback in NFL history at 264
  • Most game-winning drives in NFL history at 61

And there are many more. So, it’s not surprising that most football fans and players alike look up to him as an icon and inspiration.
