Nintendo Live 2023 Announced

Nintendo won’t be at E3 this year. In fact, E3 has a whole has been cancelled. We also have no idea if Nintendo will be doing a Direct in June or not. We do know, however, that they will have a live in person event! They just announced it. We have the details below.

Nintendo just announced a live in person event called Nintendo Live 2023. It will take place in Seattle in September. The event will have live stage performances, tournaments, photo ops, let people play Nintendo Switch games, and more! Basically this event seems to be taking the place of Nintendo’s E3.

The biggest question we have is will the event be live streamed like E3? Will it feature a Treehouse Live? Will there be a Nintendo Direct around this time?

September does seem a little late for Nintendo to have their summer Direct. We do know about Pikmin in June, so its possible that Nintendo could wait till September to have a Direct with this event. Though, perhaps this event won’t be streamed online and won’t have a Direct and/or Treehouse around it. This might not be the E3 replacement.

In any case, its exciting that Nintendo will have a live in person event this year. Time will tell if this turns out to be a yearly event or not.

What do you think of Nintendo Live 2023? Do you want to go to it?
