NHL Jersey’s in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Thanks to reddit user Goomba_Face, you can now adorn your Animal Crossing villager with their favourite NHL colours, and even potentially, your favourite NHL Player. Goomba_Face, a presumed Vancouver Canucks fan based on his profile picture, has uploaded a ton of different designs, including a ton of different NHL players. You can find the QR codes here!

Getting these jersey’s in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is actually pretty simple, but we will outline the steps below for you:

  1. Download the Nintendo Switch Online application to your Android or iOS device.
  2. Login to your Nintendo Network ID on the Nintendo Network ID application.
  3. Follow the instructions on the application to sync it with your Animal Crossing: New Horizons game.
  4. Scan QR codes using the application. There are 4 separate QR codes for each NHL jersey, and you’ll need them all to complete the design.
  5. Logon to your Animal Crossing: New Horizons game on Nintendo Switch, open the Design App on your Nook Phone, and push the + button to download the QR codes.
  6. Save them to an empty design space on your phone, and turn it into a jersey to wear proudly!

There are a ton of available players to choose from, with the more popular teams having more selection than the last popular. For example, I found 5 different Toronto Maple Leaf jerseys available – Mats Sundin, Morgan Reilly, John Tavares, Mitch Marner, and Auston Mathews. My brother-in-law, a die hard OTtawa Senators fan, had less options, giving him a choice between Thomas Chabot and Brady Tkachuk.

Once on your character, they look fantastic! While not accepting money for his creations, Goomba_Face has encouraged those who enjoy his designs to donate to a local charity in his area.

Are you going to download an NHL jersey for your Animal Crossing: New Horizons game? Let us know which team you are choosing!
