Nintendo announced on twitter today that there will be a Direct…tomorrow! The Direct will be “roughly 40 minutes of information mainly focused on #NintendoSwitch games launching in the first half of 2022.” It will be livestreamed. And thats all we know about the Nintendo Direct so far.

There are two Nintendo published titles coming in March: Triangle Strategy (from Square Enix) and Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Both of those games are very likely to be shown off during tomorrow’s Direct. One of them could even get a demo. We have seen a demo of Triangle Strategy before, but we did get a couple of demos of Octopath Traveler. Though we haven’t seen any demo of Kirby and Nintendo has done Kirby demos before, so who knows! Either way, both titles will be important in this Direct.

The Advance Wars remake is coming in April and so that’ll be in the Direct too. Also Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is coming in April and should be featured too. After April…things get fuzzy.

Splatoon 3 is coming out this year. It doesn’t have a launch date yet. Nintendo will likely announce the date tomorrow. Hmm. Splatoon 3 seems like a summer title…

The biggest question, of course, is whether we’ll see the Breath of the Wild sequel in the Direct. That really depends on whether the game is coming out this year. If it is, then we could see a new trailer for it and at least a time frame. If its not, then we might not see anything about it until E3 where a delay would be announced.

Without a doubt, there will be surprises too. Along with a demo, we could see an indie game(s) or a third party game(s) surprise drop after the Direct. Nintendo will likely announce two or three new titles and new third party and indie games will be shown. One recent rumor suggested we could see Batman Arkham Collection on the Switch. Hmm. Here’s hoping. And honestly…its time that we see more titles from Square Enix. Please give us those Final Fantasy pixel remasters Square!

With tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct being 40 minutes long we will be seeing a lot of games. Nintendo does focus on some games a bunch but they also tend to show some games off rather quickly.

This is the first Nintendo Direct of 2022! Let’s hope its a great one.

What do you want to see in tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct? Let us know in the comments! And stay tuned for our coverage of the Direct.
