The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics is coming to the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 4th! The game is based on the Netflix series The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance. The video below shows off more of the game, focusing in on the Jobs that the characters can learn.

I love The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. If you haven’t seen the Netflix series, go watch it right now! Its so well written and so well made: everything from the puppets to the environments to the voice acting is jaw dropping. What an incredible show.

The game looks fantastic. I love turn-based strategy games, especially Final Fantasy Tactics. The Dark Crystal game looks heavily inspired by FF Tactics but with its own unique flavor. The graphics are pure Dark Crystal and the battle system and job system also reflect that universe.

I’m very impressed by the job system. There are 19 jobs in all. Each of the characters can learn two jobs at once: the main job and a support job. The support abilities look like they will be very handy. Also, the skill tree for learning new abilities looks very nice. The menus in this game overall, including the pop-up menu for battles, look really well designed.
