Beyond Good and Evil 2 Project Update!

Today, the dev team behind Beyond Good and Evil 2 revealed brand-new gameplay and a full project update via their Space Monkey Report #4 Live Stream. Included in this update were Augments, Vehicles, Co-Op and more! Now, as is always the case when fans are made to wait over a decade for the second game of a series, there will surely be some mixed feelings and criticisms that might feel overly harsh. With that being said I am still very excited for the opportunity to dive deeper into the Beyond Good and Evil universe, and I hope many of you are as well!

Set to release in 2019, Beyond Good and Evil 2 is a pre-quel to the first game which was released back in 2003. Even though this game takes place about a generation before Jade, the protagonist of the first game, was born, the team working on Beyond Good and Evil 2 has taken great pains to ensure the ‘DNA’ of the first remains present.

While all of these speculations and previews are thrilling, I can’t help myself from just wishing the game would come out so all of our questions can be answered. Alas, it appears that the team are not to be rushed and will release the game when it is good and ready, and I must say I am truly thankful for that.

Ah, well. Good things come to those who wait, yes? Let’s hope so.
