Sony Releasing Ultimate Gamer Bundles

PS3-Packs

Let’s say that you consider yourself quite the gamer, but you’ve yet to play some of the classics of the PS3 era. What can you do? Sony Japan Asia are offering at least one solution by releasing a set of terribly tempting packs designed to offer you just some of the awesome experiences available on Sony’s last major console.

The first two sets on the horizon are the Ultimate Kids Pack and the Artistic Pack. Available on July 1st, the Ultimate Kids bundle contains LittleBigPlanet2 and LittleBigPlanet Karting in a single set. The Artistic Pack offers Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Journey, Flower and Flow. Both of these will be available for the equivalent of $35 brand new.

Later down the road you’ll be able to get the Ultimate God of War Pack and the Ultimate Uncharted Pack, both containing all the main titles from those franchises (plus God of War: Ascension). While similar packs have been released westward, it’s probably fair to expect both will be re-released as the franchises continue on PlayStation 4. These sets are a little more expensive than those available July 1st, and will cost $47 new. They’ll be ready for purchase of July 22nd.

No word whether we’ll ever get these ultimate packs but, let’s face it, the chances are good.
