Toejam and Earl Making a Comeback
SEGA’s most famous alien duo are making a return and, while we don’t know in what form, Toejam and Earl will probably be back sooner rather than later.
On the franchise’s Facebook page, the developers revealed that they would show more of the game within the next month:
Greetings from Funkotron! We haven’t been posting as often lately because we’ve gotten really busy with the new TJ&E game. We will be making some announcements in a probably 3 or 4 weeks, when we have something we can show, and will be able to share lots of information with you.
At this point it’d impossible to know just how much of the original spirit of the franchise will make it into this latest entry, or even what systems it’ll be available on. But, given the involvement of the original developers and the trend towards retro-inspired titles, hope should not yet be lost.
