Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts Under Appreciated

Outside of Splatoon updates, Nintendo has done very little these past few months. Most people would come to the conclusion that their E3 press conference left a lot to be desired, and very little in way of new titles this summer has made few people forget that. Nintendo has had a disappointing Summer 2015, but this could mean bigger and better things this fall.

Big Splatoon Update on Wii U

Nintendo has been doing an excellent job providing updates for their most popular games. Outside of a few pricey additions to Super Smash Bros, they have done a better job than Sony or Microsoft in providing new game play for their fans at fair prices. Like Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros, Nintendo has been updating Splatoon with lots of new content.

Microsoft continues to have a strong GamesCom showing with a few new game announcements and trailers. Today, Microsoft announced and showed trailers for Quantum Break, Crackdown 3, Scalebound, Killer Instinct Season 3, and Halo Wars 2.

When the first commercial video games were released back in the early 1970s, a brand new, billion dollar industry was created. With the development of computer hardware, games have become more colorful, more visually appealing, and much more entertaining (although I must say I still enjoy a game of Pong from time to time). In the decades that followed major game developers have grown into huge conglomerates, led by businessmen rather than enthusiastic developers, and their goal has switched from entertaining to making the most profits possible.

I was born at a time when personal computers were just a dream. When I was a child I had to ride my bike for three miles in the rain to reach the closest arcade, and was forced to use quarters to play Mortal Kombat with a broken joystick and a set of shabby buttons on a TV screen built into a wooden cabinet and painted in neon colors. Steel Series to release new waive of Gaming Headsets

During E3, Steel Series announced plans to release a new line of gaming headsets. The Siberia X300, X800, P300, and P800 are scheduled to be released on July 29th in the United States and Canada, and represents the companies next line of dedicated gaming headsets. The 300 and 800 series are labeled 'X' or 'P' to show which console they are to be used on. Our information going forward will only reference 300 or 800.
