Ubisoft today announced the list of games that will be available on Uplay+, its subscription service, on its September 3 launch for Windows PC. For $19.99/month, players will have unlimited access to download more than 100 games, including new releases, the latest released games, back catalog, premium editions and additional content packs. Players who sign up for Uplay+ now will be able to access* a free trial of Uplay+ from September 3 to September 30, which includes access to the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon®  Breakpoint closed beta on September 5. 

A number of years ago, many wondered what was happening to Ubisoft, as the company released a few sub-par titles based on their long running franchises. Fast forward to 2019, and those worries appear to be a thing of the past. While Ubisoft is still relying on the amazing franchises they have developed, they area also bringing new ideas to the table. Due to backlash from gamers, Ubisoft has decided to drop their controversial Uplay service. The most recent outcry about Ubisoft's version of an online pass is over the Edward's Fleet game mode in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. In order to access the feature, gamers had to enter in the code that came with their new copy of the game, or pay a fee. However, because of the inability for some users to be able to play Edward's Fleet, Ubisoft is now offering it for free. Here's more from their official blog post:
