After all these years, people are still wondering if Gordon Freemen will ever return. It's an opinion long held by soccer moms and people that refuse to learn that video games are the source of all evil in the world. Specifically violent videos games, in which, they believe, young children are taught that shooting someone in the face has no consequences. They watch as Little Jimmy becomes indifferent, angry and aggressive, and then ask themselves why the government allows them to keep buying this stuff for their kids.

Black Mesa: Source, a fan project that remade the original Half-Life in high-definition, will soon be available to purchase on Steam. It’s currently available for free, but Valve was kind enough to let the developers sell the game on their digital-distribution service.  The icing on the cake was that Valve informed Black Mesa about this news on Half-Life’s 15th anniversary. Valve have trademarked Half-Life 3, a move that will no doubt excite millions of fans of the series. This has so far only happened in Europe and there's no more information about it available, so it's probably far too early to be saying "Half-Life 3 Confirmed" but, at least of the surface of it, Half-Life 3 seems at least semi-confirmed.
