Everyone kept raving about Fire Emblem Three Houses. I kept resisting the game. Don’t get me wrong: I love the Fire Emblem franchise. Fire Emblem Fates is one of my favorite 3DS games. I haven’t always been a Fire Emblem fan. I’ve tried the series in the past, Path of Radiance on the Gamecube for instance, and didn’t care for it. Fire Emblem: Three Houses is likely not what fans, old or new, might expect from a Fire Emblem game. While the older Fire Emblem games were very combat-focused and the newer games have been oriented more towards the social/romantic aspects of the game while easing up on the hardcore battling, Three Houses, in which you play a professor at an academy for young knights, does a fantastic job in finding the balance between both.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses will be out on July 26, 2019 for the Nintendo Switch! Nintendo has released a new video today spotlighting one of the three houses in the game. The combat in Fire Emblem: Three Houses looks really great. I’m not sure yet whether I’ll like the house aspect of the game. I have heard that there is some kind of big twist in the game though that should make things even more interesting then it initially seems.…

On twitter today, Nintendo announced a Direct for tomorrow (2/13). Check out the tweet below for more details! So we know that Fire Emblem Three Houses will be shown during the Direct but we have no idea what else will be shown. We do know that it’ll most likely only be Switch games though, unless there’s a duel Switch/3DS release in the mix.
