I’ve never been into the Assassin’s Creed series. I tried. I thought I’d really love the Revolutionary War one and I didn’t. So I had no interest in playing any of the recent ones. But I have had extra time lately and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was on gamepass. I liked Immortals Fenyx Rising which was also set in ancient Greece time. Maybe Odyssey would be cool? Over the past few weeks, I've been diving deep into Borderlands 3 on Google Stadia, and have really been enjoying the experience so far. I'm playing on 40 mb Internet, mostly on my Google Pixel 4 XL, once and a while connecting to Google Chromecast and playing on my TV. And still, the experience has been nearly flawless.

Thanks to our friends at Ubisoft Canada, we have been given the opportunity to take the Fate of Atlantis DLC for a spin, and post our thoughts about the three part DLC adventure. This second major DLC release builds off the first in positive ways, which we will address shortly. With two chapters down and one to go, I'm thuroughly enjoying yet another romp through the world of Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Today, Ubisoft announced that the first episode, Hunted, in the new post-launch story arc for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Legacy of the First Blade, is now available. 

Ubisoft released a number of fantastic games in 2018, and any one of them would make a fantastic gift under the tree for that special someone in your life...may be yourself! It's not often a single studio can have multiple home run hits in a year, but somehow Ubisoft managed with Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Far Cry 5, The Crew 2, and their newest IP, Starlink: Battle for Atlas. When Assassin’s Creed Origins launched last year it became quickly apparent that the major changes to the franchise propelled that release to my favourite Assassin’s Creed game to date, and it was a sentiment shared by many. One year later, and we have been promised another grand adventure, built on similar changes made to Origins. But with only a year between releases, does this release take a step back? Let’s dive in!
