Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare Coming to PlayStation

FlyShooter-PlantsVsZombies

It was always pretty obvious that Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare would end up on PlayStation devices. I’m not sure Popcap or EA ever denied it either. The franchise has long been a multiplatformer, regardless of any temporary exclusivity deals that might have been in place. Well, a new Tweet from the official EA account hints that the family-friendly shooter will be available on PS3 and PS4 sooner than expected.

Although they didn’t specifically name the game in their tweet, EA did tease that it was “time for an announcement” and then posted this picture. The picture displays one of the iconic Peashooters from Plants Vs Zombies, disguised as Sony mascot Sly Cooper. They later posted another picture parodying Fat Princess, or Grass Princess as Popcap have named it.

It all points to the same thing: Garden Warfare coming to PlayStation. The shooter is on its way to PC as well, meaning the Xbox exclusivity is well and truly over.

Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare is a decent enough game, although in his review Adam noted that its focus on online multiplayer affected his enjoyment, not to mention the lag. Hopefully these are problems that’ll be sorted before the PlayStation edition makes it to the store.
