Velocity Ultra Playable at GDC

The news that FuturLab are bringing the critically acclaimed Velocity to Vita in May this year should have anybody who owns Sony’s latest handheld quivering with delight. The critically acclaimed shoot ’em up that smashed the PlayStation Minis record and won more than a few awards is going to be completely re-jiggled, with better graphics, improved controls and trophy support. Ultra is going to be the ultimate version of the game, and FuturLab’s debut into full Vita development is bound to segue into something new and exciting for the future.

In the mean time, if you’re in San Francisco for GDC, you should call in and meet up with the FuturLab team, who will be showing off Velocity Ultra to any Vita owner hungry for addictive gameplay and fine-tuned mechanics. GDC takes place March 25th-29th, and will also house the big reveal for the mysterious Phantom Pain. With only a week to go, it’s going to be a very interesting show this year. Velocity Ultra just adds icing to the cake.
