April 2, 2020. One week into the kids staying home due to the pandemic we found a new pass time: the entire family in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch.

Fury Unleashed is a 2D-action-platformer-roguelike set in a comic book.  That’s a lot of different genres thrown out there, but in reality, the game is similar to others already on the market, most closely resembling games like Enter the Gungeon or Rogue Legacy.  Players explore a hand-drawn world, spanning four different procedurally-generated comic worlds, fighting off themed enemies as the titular Fury, and learning more about the comic’s author, who has grown bored with his franchise. The creation and release of wacky, fun couch co-op titles has ramped up over the past few years, with great hits like Overcooked and it's sequel, Overcooked 2. This style game has created a number of fun and wacky similar titles, and the latest and greatest is Moving Out, developed by SMG Studio and published by Team 17, the great folks behind the Worms franchise. As a rule, I am often skeptical of third-party accessories that claim to offer a boost in audio quality, especially when these accessories are reasonably priced. When I think of underwater games, I tend to think of Bioshock. That is the best example of a game that takes place underwater. I was not familiar with what One Piece was other than seeing the occasional artwork, cover, or game released every once in awhile. So for those like me not used to the source material, as best I can tell, it goes like this.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is a role-playing game that heavily incorporates a revamped version of Gwent, the card game featured in the Witcher games. Originally released in 2018 on PC and consoles, Thronebreaker has now made its way to the Nintendo Switch! While it does incorporate the card game, Thronebreaker is much more than that. Featuring a 30+ hour campaign, the game plays very much like a typical isometric RPG. How will these juxtaposed styles mash into a game, and how will they play out on the Switch?
