Japanese Roll Playing Games go with PlayStation like butter on bread, but not all JRPG experiences are the same, in terms of storyline, game mechanics, or overall quality. In 2018 - and when compared to what was released in 2017 - I firmly believe that Ni No Kuni 2 rises to the top, as one of the premier JRPG titles currently available on the PS4. While there are some questions around the games overall difficulty, and perhaps lack of variety at times, the overall package works really well, and is definitely a worthwhile purchase!

Yesterday afternoon, Xbox Canada unlocked Sea of Thieves for reviewers, and I quickly jumped in for a few hours to see all the exciting content that wasn't public during the alpha and beta phase of the game. If you've owned an Xbox One unit for long enough, you are likely very familiar with the R.B.I. series as it has been the only MLB game available on the console for a number of years now. While the PlayStation 4 has the luxury of having MLB: The Show year in and year out, Xbox fans are left with the relatively good and addicting R.B.I. series. As an arcade baseball fan, I'm more than OK with this being the only MLB offering on the Xbox One.

Pure Farming 2018 takes everything from previous farming simulator titles, adds a bit of its own flair, and delivers the most up-to-date, rich farming experience available on any platform right now. While it could get outpaced by the latest Farming Simulator title due out late this year or early next, Pure Farming 2018 will be, and should be, the farming game of choice for all farm simulation fans, and will likely remain so for the next 10-12 months.
