Moving Around With Warioware
Warioware: Move It! came out on the Nintendo Switch last week. Adam Roffel gave the game an 8.0 out of 10. I’ve been checking out Move It too and wanted to provide additional thoughts on the game.
Warioware: Move It! is the newest entry in the Warioware franchise. I’m usually a big fan of these wacky microgames. I liked Warioware Get It Together on the Switch. So what do I think of Warioware Move It?
Well…I think its a good game but not for me. I’m not totally against motion controls. I loved the Wii. However, with Warioware, I just can’t get into it. I’m an older game and honestly, I’m a lazy gamer. I’d rather just sit in my chair and play a game. With Warioware Move It, you have to, well, move it.
The controls are very intense, with players having to move quickly or fail at a mini-game. Your reflexes have to be very good for this game. Sometimes, you’ll be changing between poses quickly too. The game has the same charming Warioware humor and nice cutscenes, but I’m just not feeling the controls.
Warioware Get It Together was a much better game in my opinion. The games were quick and fun like other Warioware games. Move It isn’t a bad game. Its just not for me. I am glad for the chance to check the game out however. For me, the game would be a 7.5 out of 10. Still a very good score.
If you’re a fan of the Wii and you love party games, then this is a game you’ll want to play. If you are a lazy gamer like me, you’ll want to avoid this one.
Thank you to Nintendo Canada for providing a digital code to us. Warioware: Move It! is out now for the Nintendo Switch.
