More Thoughts From Me #280: Warioware Switches Things Up

Warioware: Get It Together! is coming out tomorrow for the Nintendo Switch. I previously talked about the demo, but I thought it was worth hyping up the game more! I love the Warioware franchise.

The first Warioware game for the Nintendo Switch comes out tomorrow (6/10). And I’m pretty excited. I’m a huge Warioware fan. I blame WarioWare: D.I.Y. on the DS for making me a fan of the franchise.

And having a Warioware game on the Switch? C’mon. Thats amazing.

Why is it amazing? What makes a Warioware game on the Switch special?

In Warioware play wacky micro-games quickly. The games are so short but very replayable. Warioware: Get It Together! will be the perfect game to play if you just a few minutes or more to spare. Its more of a portable game than a TV game.

So Warioware: Get It Together! will be the perfect game to get for those of you who like handheld mode. Nintendo Switch Lite owners especially will love this one.

Plus, Get It Together! is the first Warioware game to have a 2-player mode and any online features at all. The game also changes things up by having you directly control Wario and his friends. The way the mini-games are played is different but this game keeps the same humor and weirdness from previous games. Its insane I tell ya!

I loved checking out the demo. I couldn’t believe Nintendo gave us a demo of Warioware: Get It Together! It was a very welcome surprise.

If you’ve never played a Warioware game before, Get It Together! looks like it’ll be the perfect first game for players. And of course returning fans (like me) are going to have a blast with it too!

Oh and I can’t wait to check out all the Nintendo themed micro-games. I notice Nintendo left most of those out of the demo. I’m so ready to check those out.

Are you getting Warioware: Get It Together! tomorrow? Which micro-games are you most excited to play?

More Thoughts From Me is an opinon column. The thoughts expressed here are mine and mine alone. I hope we see a Wario platformer on the Switch one of these days too.
