Warioware Gold Demo Impressions

Earlier this week, I wrote about Warioware Gold for the 3DS in my column for this site. I said I couldn’t wait to play this game. Well, somebody must have heard me because Nintendo released a demo for the game yesterday. I’ve gotten to play that demo some and now I can give you my impressions of it. Is the Warioware Gold demo fun?

Mash it, twist it, touch it, and take turns doing all of them. If this sounds a bit naughty, opps, sorry. What I’m talking about is Warioware Gold, the demo specifically!

In the demo for this odd game, you’ll be using the d-pad, the 3DS motion controls, the touch screen, and then have to take turns using everything. All of the controls in this demo work really well. And, most important, the demo is a lot of fun.

Warioware Gold makes great use of motion controls and the touch screen. I enjoyed the touch screen microgames the most! Who knew quickly unrolling toilet paper could be so much fun. Warioware is a game where you need the controls to be tight and they definitly are with Gold!

As for the graphics, they are what you’d expect them to be. They are simple looking and hilarious.

The Warioware Gold demo isn’t very long. You can finish the demo pretty quickly. Thankfully, this demo can be replayed as many times as you want. Nintendo didn’t put a limit on it. And with how these microgames are, the replay value for the demo alone is pretty high. Can you beat your high score on each category?!

I have a feeling that the final Warioware Gold game is going to be something special. I would suggest that any fan of the series shouldn’t pass this game up.

Get your 3DS ready! Warioware Gold is out early next month!
