Just Add Water

Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is well on its way and is looking great. Every set of screenshots, every new piece of information shows a game that's honest to the original Oddysee, but that has been improved upon with modern technology. At GDC this week, Just Add Water and Oddworld Inhabitants released a brand new video showing off some familiar, but excitingly new gameplay.

Fans of the Oddworld franchise will know exactly how New 'n' Tasty is made, but that won't stop the hair on the back of your neck from standing up when you watch this rather excellent trailer for Spring 2014's Abe's Oddysee remake. "I thought I had a good job..."

Stranger's Wrath HD was a superb re-release of an tragically underrated Xbox game, and the fact it came to PlayStation 3, Vita and PC was very satisfying. Munch's Oddysee HD was due a similar second chance, but unfortunately one of those platforms has had to be dropped... for now, at least.
