Like its two predecessors, Joseph: Collapse is another classic, distorted character, but this time set up in the twisted version of Far Cry’s Hope County, Montana. Ubisoft says the experience that follows will allow players to tap into Joseph’s tortured mind, face off against his former followers after his faith collapsed, and end up confronting his family members while he tries to conquer his inner demons.   The game again is set up exactly like the other two DLC episodes…

Prior to the release of Far Cry 5, Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Toronto released a 30 minute short film titled, "Inside Eden's Gate." This short film was previously just available via a paid subscription service, but Ubisoft announced this week that the film was now viewable on YouTube, via the official Ubisoft channel. When a franchise gets into it's 4th or 5th title, sometimes bad habits or complacency sets in and what consumers ultimately get at retail is a paired down, lackluster experience that disappoints in many ways. Ubisoft themselves have been partially guilty of this, especially when you look back on releases like Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed Unity.
