Telltale Announces The Walking Dead: Season Two

The Walking Dead Season 2 Screen

Telltale Games has just announced The Walking Dead: Season Two. As the sequel to their mega-hit adventure game based on Robert Kirkman’s highly acclaimed ongoing comic series of the same name, the second season will run five episodes long and feature Season One’s co-star Clementine as the main protagonist. Here’s more from the official press release:

The Walking Dead: Season Two – A Telltale Games Series will continue the story of Clementine, a young girl orphaned at the outset of the undead apocalypse, now left to her own devices to seek safety and survive in a world gone mad.  Now assuming the role of an ordinary child, players will struggle to outwit both the dead and the living in situations that will test their morals and control the flow of the story through their decisions and actions.

Season Two will be released later this year, and is available for preorder now on Steam for $22.49 USD. Just like the first season, it will span five episodes, with everything wrapping up in 2014.

Also revealed is the The Walking Dead: Season One Game of the Year Edition. It will release at retail in November, and contain all five episodes, the 400 Days DLC, the soundtrack, and a behind the scenes documentary. All of this can be yours for the low-low price of $29.99 USD, or the equivalent for your location.
