Mirrors Edge 2 officially revealed
Quite possibly the most requested sequel has finally been confirmed along with a stunning trailer. It has been rumoured for the past few weeks that Mirrors Edge 2 was in development and now it’s a reality.
The stunning trailer shows the return of Faith, the beautiful protagonist from the first game. Gameplay looks similar to Mirrors Edge 1 and keeps the first person perspective (that’s a good thing btw) that we all love. The art style also looks familiar with brilliant whites and red interactable objects just like before and even the soundtrack sounds just like Still Alive. No details have been given on the story or even whether it’s a sequel or a prequel. A release date is slated for ‘when it’s ready‘ which could be anything from a few months to a couple years (although we hope it’s the former). The reveal was also lacking any mention of console so we still don’t know if it’s exclusive to Xbox or if it’ll grace the PS3/PS4 too.
So no release date and no idea which platforms it’s coming to but one thing is for certain… it is coming.
