Dynasty Warriors 8 PS4, Vita Release Date Announced

lubu - Xtreme Legends

Koei have just unleashed a new website for Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends, and alongside it have announced a new set of information about the Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition on PlayStation 4 and Vita. Fans of the franchise will be happy to know they can transfer their saves, and everybody else should be saving their pennies for new-gen battlefield action.

Xtreme Legends on the PS3 is pretty much the same as previous entries in the spin-off sector of the franchise. Add a few new features, a couple more characters and then allow the player to mix said features with the original disk. It really should be DLC by now, but apparently Koei prefer doing things the difficult way. There are a set of hypothetical battles included in this version of Xtreme Legends as well, and a new campaign focussing on Lu Bu.

The PlayStation 4 and Vita versions of the game included everything that was originally included in Dynasty Warriors 8 and all of the Xtreme Legends content (hence the Complete Edition addition to the already bloated title). If you want to play on the move, or if you want better graphics and more characters on screen, you’ll want to check out Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition on Vita or PS4.

You’ll be able to pick up all three versions of Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends from April 4th.
