Swords & Strategy: A Look At Legna Tactica for the 3DS

I love strategy rpgs. My favorite of this genre is still Final Fantasy Tactics for the PlayStation 1, though I am a huge fan of the recent entries in the Fire Emblem series. So when an indie developer brings a strategy rpg to the 3DS, I’m always interested. Legna Tactica is currently available on the 3DS eshop. I recently received a review copy of the game and I’ve been playing it a lot. My review isn’t ready yet, but I…

Legna Tactica Battles Its Way to the 3DS Eshop Today

Kecmo has brought a lot of rpgs to the Wii U and 3DS eshop. All of these games have been turn based rpgs though. Legna Tactica, just released today for the 3DS eshop, is a bit different though. Legna is a strategy rpg! I love strategy rpgs. I may even love strategy rpgs as much as I love turn-based rpgs. The jury is still out on that one. What I can tell you is that I really love how Legna…

Step into the gigantic Battle Arena with Motiga and Perfect World Entertainment’s 3D Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) hit Gigantic. Currently Gigantic is in its open public beta stage for everyone to enjoy. The game has had very positive feedback in terms of game play and graphics, and we had to try it out. Gigantic is free to play with many in game purchases if they catch your eye. As with all free to play games, some of the standard purchases are in game tokens or currency and items to help you improve your characters or the world you are playing in.

More Thoughts From Me Fire Emblem Edition: Echoes of the Past and Future

When Nintendo announced that there would be a Direct this week for Fire Emblem, I tried not to set my hopes too high. It was very likely that only Fire Emblem Warriors and maybe that Fire Emblem mobile game would be shown. This week, we found out the mobile title would indeed be shown. I was still trying my hardest not to get excited about today’s direct, however I was secretly hoping that we’d get a new 3DS game. As…

Now we know that more than one title will be shown during the Direct. In fact, we know about one other “game” that will be shown during the Direct. Find out about that below. I will also offer some speculation as to what else might be shown.…

#SwitchAnticipatedTitles: Project Octopath Traveler

Square Enix does a lot of rpgs for the 3DS, but its not often that we see them do rpgs for a Nintendo home console. Last night, it was announced that Dragon Quest 10 and 11 will hit the Switch in Japan. Also Dragon Quest Heroes 1 + 2 was announced for the Switch. And finally, Square showed off a brand new rpg. The new rpg was the game that caught my attention. Yes, I do want Dragon Quest 11…

The Mercenaries Return for Another Saga: A Look At Mercenaries Saga 3

Mercenaries Saga 2 for the 3DS was one of my favorite games last year. It was a game that harkened back to the Final Fantasy Tactics series, while also bringing its own unique story, characters, and level up/job system. After I beat the game, I was already ready for the next one. And thankfully, just recently, Circle Entertainment brought Mercenaries Saga 3 to the North American 3DS eshop. Here are my impressions so far of the game. Mercenaries Saga 3…
