LEGO games have been around for a long time, and have been released on almost every modern video game system imaginable, from the iPhone to the Xbox One, and everything in between. When the Nintendo Switch launched in March of 2017, everyone knew it would be the perfect system for Travelers Tales LEGO game, and so far, they haven't disappointed with the release of LEGO Worlds, and now, the LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game. LEGO Ninjago is much like previous LEGO licenced titles, but one major twist: improved combat that suites a Ninja lifestyle!

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released a NEW vignette for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, spotlighting members of the Inhuman Royal Family, including Black Bolt, Medusa, Crystal, Karnak, Gorgon, Maximus and the lovable canine, Lockjaw, all in LEGO form. Also showcased is their ancestral home, the Inhuman city of Attilan, which is one of 18 different iconic Marvel locations featured in the game, all ripped from time and space to form the expansive Open Hub World of Chronopolis.

Image & Form are one of the best Indie developers that create games for Nintendo Systems. So when they announced Steamworld Dig 2 for Nintendo Switch, I had no doubt that the game would be good. I just had to wonder how good it would be? Would the game be better than Steamworld Dig? Would it be better than Steamworld Heist? Better than both?

With the upcoming release of Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga on the Nintendo 3DS - available at retail and on the Nintendo eShop on October 6 - I started wondering what other great Nintendo Gameboy Advanced titles we could possibly see remastered on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems in the near future. Many people have been calling for the death of the Nintendo 3DS ever since the Nintendo Switch launched, citing a variety of reasons, most predominantly that Nintendo should focus their time and money on the Switch. The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game doesn't break a ton of new ground for famed developers Travelers Tales, but the game does enough to differentiate itself for the dozens of other LEGO titles currently available across almost every gaming platform imaginable. If you are familiar with LEGO Ninjago, you'll know that in the movie and show, Ninja combat is at the forefront of almost every encounter. It makes sense, then, that Travelers Tales would rework the standard LEGO game combat to better fit the Ninjago franchise. From what I've played, it works really well!

During the days of the Nintendo Wii, people could not get enough of the original Mario Galaxy, prompting Nintendo to do something they've rarely ever done with 3D Mario titles: release a sequel! Unfortunately for me, neither Mario Galaxy or Mario Galaxy 2 hit that sweet spot for me like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine did. In fact, nothing Nintendo has released for Mario has brought me back mentally to the days of the Gamecube and Nintendo 64. Super Mario Odyssey is about to change that in a big way for me, and I cannot wait!
