New Dungeons in WoW: Shadowlands

The World of Warcraft is finally launching a new world of mystic and adventures. This time players will have to prove their worth and overpower the vicious enemies in the Shadowlands – the realm between Life and Death.

The Shadowlands will pose many threats and challenges on the player’s way. Therefore, he may need some help in the form of WoW Mythic Plus boost to overcome them all and experience the joy of teaming up with reliable, skillful allies.

The new realm offers a lot of changes. Five zones to explore, dangerous bosses, a new raid in Castle Nathria – the heart of Revendreth. Besides this, gamers will also have eight new dungeons to pass. In this article, we will elaborate on each of them so that you know what awaits you.

Eight New Dungeons in the Shadowlands

The Shadowlands expansion prepares eight new dungeons where you will have to prove that you are skillful enough to pass them and receive the valuable loot. Of course, the higher the difficulty, the more precious loot you will get. The rating looks as follows:

  1. Normal difficulty (lvl 60) – lvl 157 gear
  2. Mythic difficulty – lvl 170 gear
  3. Heroic difficulty – lvl 183 gear

All the dungeons in the Shadowlands can be divided into two categories:

  • 4 dungeons for all players to level up
  • 4 dungeons for players at max level for an end game.

Therefore, you will have to do your best and reach the maximum level of 60 – yes, it’s not 120 anymore – in order to proceed with all eight dungeons. However, you will need to sweat to enter all of them as each becomes available only once you reach a particular level:

  1. The Necrotic Wake – lvl 50
  2. Plaguefall – lvl 53
  3. Mists of Tirna Scithe – lvl 55
  4. Hall of Atonement – lvl 57
  5. Theater of Pain – lvl 60
  6. De Other Side – lvl 60
  7. Spires of Ascension – lvl 60
  8. Sanguine Depth – lvl 60

Let’s learn a bit more about each of them:

The Necrotic Wake

The leveling dungeon has prepared four bosses for you to assassinate. It’s located in Bastion and available in four different difficulties.

Plaguefall

Another dungeon to level up rests on Maldraxxus. As well as the previous one, you will find there four bosses and can enter it in four difficulties.

Mists of Tirna Scithe

Mists of Tirna Scithe lies almost in the very center of Ardenweald. Although here you are to compete only with the three bosses, they won’t surrender to you easily.

Hall of Atonement

Located in the east of Revendreth, Hall of Atonement has prepared four bosses that are looking forward to slaughtering you. You have a chance to kill them on four difficulties.

Theater of Pain

Theater of Pain is the heart of Maldraxxus. This max-level dungeon is mysterious and dangerous, with five bosses encounters on the way to valuable, very valuable loot.

De Other Side

You are already aware of the Ardenweald – that’s where the Mists of Tirna Scithe takes place. This won’t help you to overpower four vicious bosses. Also, keep in mind that the entrances are very far away from each other.

Spires of Ascension

This max-level dungeon rests in Bastion and offers you to try and overpower four bosses. However, the loot is definitely worth it.

Sanguine Depth

The last max-level dungeon is in the North of Revendreth. You will need much courage and power to manage to kill the four bosses.#

All the dungeons can be completed on four difficulty levels: Normal, Heroic, Mythic, and Mythic+. Keep in mind that slight changes can be implemented when the Shadowlands are released out of beta. In particular, this addresses the level required to enter a particular dungeon.

Final Thoughts

As you can see, the Shadowlands has prepared for you a lot of new things. While this is good news since the game is going to be even more exciting, you will have to adapt to the changes. In particular, this is relevant for a new leveling system.

Those who used to reach 120 in World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth will experience a level squish in the Shadowlands. Their level will be dropped down to 50. Although it seems unfair, in reality, it’s only the figures that change.

In terms of dungeons, it means that if you manage to reach a max level in WoW BFA, you will be dropped to lvl 50, which is enough to start your journey around the dungeons. Therefore, there is nothing to worry about so far.
