HALO Energy Sword – Available at Toys R’Us
There are few things as fun in HALO as wielding the energy sword – it’s wickedly deadly and you can quickly get on an outstanding kill streak using it. While I’ve personally moved past many of the toys on the list – including the HALO Energy Sword – my son Logan has been having a blast with it as he plays outside with friends. While not always recreating the HALO universe while he plays, he can make use of the Energy Sword in any of the wacky games he creates in his mind.
The toy itself is really durable, made of hard, fairly heavy plastic that doesn’t dent or break, even when dropped. The Sword lights up and makes noise as you swish it through the air and includes a downloadable accessory for Halo Infinite, which can be easily missed so check your packaging if you purchase this! Squishmallows 5″ The Gamer Assorted
Squishmallows are wildly popular, and my kids have not missed the craze. While their collections are modest compared to others, they still have a good number they can pull out at a moment’s notice. A new line of gamer related Squishmallows are really cool, and while my kids are having a blast playing with the one sent over by Jazwares, I could really see this being used by streamers and video game fans as decorative pieces. I would have, but I lost it to my kids the second I opened the box. Check out this description from Jazwares:
