Gambling With PayPal

PayPal is one of the biggest payment methods in the world, so it only makes sense that people would want to gamble using the service.

There’s good news and bad news there. While it’s perfectly possible to use PayPal for slots and casinos across the web, it becomes increasingly difficult if you live in the US.

But so long as gambling is legal where you live and you’re not in the US, you should be able to find casinos that take PayPal very easily.

Using PayPal to Gamble

Playing casinos or slot sites with Paypal comes with a number of useful protections. In an age where you have to be extra careful with your money online, it’s always useful to be able to put a third-party buffer in place. That might be your credit card, but it might as well be PayPal.

But first of all you have to find a website that accepts it as a payment method. This isn’t as difficult as you might think, so long as you’re not in the US. Officially, PayPal says it will work with any vendor that proves it can successfully block transactions in the US or in places where it is illegal to gamble.

Unless you can prove that, you’re going to struggle to offer a PayPal option on your site. The company limits all kinds of gambling until they approve you, covering everything from sports betting to games of chance, to person-to-person betting and even gaming machines.

The good news to all this is if you can see the PayPal logo on a gambling website, you know that they have earned it.

Paying for Slots and Casinos

With all that in mind, it makes sense that the sites that accept PayPal are going to make a huge deal out of it. You don’t go through all this and then not advertise it.

That means that for most people, finding a site that will accept PayPal is as easy as jumping on Google.

When you do so, you’ll see countless sites offering up exactly the options you need. As always, decide what else you’d like to get out of your gambling experience and you’ll be able to figure out everything else from there. Decide what sort of game you wish you play, what kind of odds you’re interested in, then research casinos that fulfill those criteria.

That way you can be happy and safe while gambling online.

You’ll also qualify for Paypal’s buyer protection. That means that if you’re the victim of fraud or identity theft, you have all the might of PayPal behind you.

There’s less good news for those of us who live in the US. You won’t be able to use PayPal officially. There are probably people who’ve figured a way around this – this is the internet after all – but you’ll lose any protections you might have if you try.

Instead you can consider other forms of transferring money. You can do it through credit card, or there are other increasingly popular ways to pay. That includes Bitcoin which, yes, you can also receive winnings in. That’s pretty cool if you’re trendy enough to use Bitcoin.

Conclusion

If you’re one of those people making PayPal one of the most popular payment methods in the world, you’ll be happy to know you can do just that at casinos and slot machines. It doesn’t take much effort, and is safe.

On the other hand, there may be issues if you live in the US or if gambling is illegal where you live. But there are always other ways of paying for your hobby.
