Welcome to the Nintendo Switch, Kingdom Hearts!

The final Smash Bros Ultimate character was revealed today and it was…Sora from Kingdom Hearts! Sora will be coming to the Switch later this month and also…the Kingdom Hearts games will be coming to the system too. We have the details below and also check out the Smash Bros video with Sora’s reveal.

The final Smash Bros character, Sora, will be coming out on October 18th, 2021.

And…the Kingdom Hearts games will be coming to the Switch too. We don’t know when or how much they’ll cost, but Nintendo of America announced on twitter that “KINGDOM HEARTS – HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, KINGDOM HEARTS III” will all make their way to the Nintendo Switch.

There is a catch though. The games are coming to the Switch as Cloud versions. That means they will be streaming to the Nintendo Switch.

This is a little disappointing because most of the games, expect for Kingdom Hearts 3, could easily be brought the systems via physical media. However, at the least the games are coming to the system and players who have never gotten to check the games out will get their chance!

Kingdom Hearts is really coming to the Nintendo Switch in a big way. All of the games are coming, plus Sora is a Smash Bros character. Wow. Personally, I would’ve never guessed that all this what would be revealed today.

What do you think of Sora as a Smash Bros character? Will you be checking out the Kingdom Hearts games on the Switch?
