More Thoughts From Me #239: Have A Donut (County)

Raccoons are cool. If you’ve ever watched the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, you already knew that. If you need further proof, check out Donut County for the Nintendo Switch! It’ll make you like raccoons even more and “donuts” too.

Donut County is a game where you control a hole in the ground that can move around and that gets bigger and bigger by sucking more things into it. Its all the raccoons fault.

There are talking animals in Donut County, along with humans. This is obviously not a realistic game of any sort. Its animated graphics and the giant hole sucking up everything is a big giveaway.

Donut County is a lot of fun. Who knew getting rid of everything on screen like that would be so much fun? And the levels become more complicated as you progress in the game.

There are puzzles in Donut County, such as figuring out how to get a chicken into a barn or getting rid of all the bugs in a kitchen. Donut County keeps everything fun and its story is pretty neat too.

The characters in Donut County are pretty wild. BK, the main character pretty much, is a talking raccoon that doesn’t want to take any sort of responsibility for what he’s doing. He tries to insist he was just helping people. The other characters are pretty interesting too and I like how we get each of their stories and how they ended up underground.

Donut County is, without a doubt, a hidden gem on the Nintendo Switch eshop. Well its probably a hidden gem everywhere. I got the game when it was on sale at a low, low price and wow, worth it!

I have been having so much fun with this game. If you get a chance to grab it on sale, do that. If you just want to get it now, you should know that it is totally worth its normal price. Donut County is so much fun.

Have you played Donut County? What do you think of it?
