More details on the roster for PGA Tour 2K23

Since the game was announced 2K has been a little tight lipped about the roster for it. Much like WWE 2K games folks have been wondering who would be featured, as wrestlers are signed and released pretty frequently you are always going to have some folks who just left, etc. But in the world of Golf, there has been a lot of drama around the LIV Golf Tour taking players from the PGA for big bucks. So it was natural for golf fans to wonder who was still going to be playable. We knew right off the bat that Tiger was back and you can play as Michael Jordan (if you preorder) but not much else was said, until now:

The pros available at launch in PGA TOUR 2K23 include:

  • Tiger Woods;
  • Justin Thomas;
  • Lexi Thompson;
  • Lydia Ko;
  • Brooke Henderson;
  • Will Zalatoris;
  • Collin Morikawa;
  • Tony Finau;
  • Jon Rahm;
  • Rickie Fowler;
  • Justin Rose;
  • Xander Schauffele;
  • And more.

Obviously the keywords here being at launch, so they probably have more planned out for the future, perhaps some legends coming back to play? Each pro is decked out in their own true-to-life clothing and equipment, you can play as them in Exhibition, Multiplayer and Divot Derby play, or go head-to-head with them in a battle to climb the leaderboard and claim the FedExCup in PGA TOUR MyCAREER mode.

PGA TOUR 2K23 Deluxe Edition and PGA TOUR 2K23 Tiger Woods Edition are currently scheduled for release on October 11th, followed by PGA TOUR 2K23 Standard Edition on October 14th, for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5 (PS5™), PlayStation®4 (PS4™) and Steam.

Married and father of 3 children he has been gaming since the ripe age of 6 when he got his first NES system and over 30 years later he is still gaming almost daily. Kevin is also co-founder of the Play Some Video Games (PSVG) Podcast network which was founded over five years ago and is still going strong. Some of his favorite gaming series includes Fallout and Far Cry, he is a sucker for single player adventure games (hence his big reviews for Playstation), and can frequently be found getting down in one battle royale or another. If it's an oddball game, odds are he's all about it.
