More Thoughts From Me: Soon We’ll Live in the Shire

I love simulation games. I also happen to love Lord of the Rings. So to say I’m excited for the upcoming Tales of the Shire simulation game is an understatement! Let’s talk about this game.

On July 29^th, we’ll get to live in the Shire as a Hobbit.

Well, if you get Tales of the Shire for the Nintendo Switch (or other systems) that is.

Yes, Tales of the Shire is a simulation game where you play as Hobbit. You can farm, fish, decorate your house, and even have second breakfast! As a simulation game fan and a Lord of the Rings fan, this pretty exciting. I remember seeing the first trailer for this game and thinking I WANT IT NOW. And ever since then, whenever I’d see a trailer, I’d be like GIVE IT TO ME.

As you all know, I’m a huge fan of Animal Crossing, Hello Kitty, Disney Dreamlight Valley, and other simulation games. You may not know, because I haven’t said it often, but I really love the Lord of the Rings. I’m especially fan of the movies.

And getting to see that Gandalf is in the game and its hinted that other characters and families of familiar Hobbits are in the game too makes me even more excited for this game. We usually see the Lord of the Rings characters in an action setting. I even remember they did a turn-based rpg of the franchise once. However, as far as I know, we’ve never seen a cozy simulation game based on the series before.

Tales of the Shire has a lot of promise. We’ll find ourselves checking out tales, living the hobbit life, and feeling like we’re part of the Lord of the Rings universe. I can’t wait to play this game! Is it July 29^th yet?

More Thoughts From Me is an opinion column. The thoughts expressed here are mine and mine alone. I need to go watch these movies again. I love the Amazon Prime series too.
