Repost – How to Get Your Dual Lightsaber in Jedi: Fallen Order

If you follow the story as it is presented to you in dialogue by your crew mates, getting the dual lightsaber could potentially be a long ways off. But if you know where to go and what to do, you can have your dual lightsaber within the first hour or two! And in reality, it’s not that hard – we have all the details below!

Having a dual lightsaber is really great. Not only does it allow you to plow through easier enemies when they begin to crowd you in tight areas, but it also allows you to illuminate dark areas much better than a single lightsaber ever can. So getting this dual lightsaber doesn’t just make the game more fun, but also makes the game easier, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing!

After going through the regular tutorial mission and getting access to the newest droid in the Star Wars universe, BD1, Once you complete the mission at the scrap yard, and finish up at the planet of Bogano, you’ll be able to travel to a number of different planets. Your crew mates will direct you along the story, but you can go off the beaten path and travel to Dathomir instead. Be ready for a bit of a tough fight, as Dathomir is a bit of a rough go when you first arrive, at a low level. The enemies here can be tough, and if you have not mastered the parry and block yet, you likely won’t make it through to where the dual lighstaber can be found.

Fortunately, while the enemies are tough, actually getting to the workbench to upgrade your saber shouldn’t take you all too long. Even on my first play through, with no knowledge of the area, it only took me about 30 minutes to make it to that point, upgrade my saber, and make it back to my ship. You aren’t likely to miss the workstation either, as it’s right along the way. When told by friends that I could get the dual lightsaber this early, I was worried I would spend all the time fighting the enemies and ultimately miss the work station. Thankfully, that wasn’t even an issue.

So there you go – get to Dathomir as soon as possible, and snag that dual blade! It is totally worth it!
