A Closer Look at Paper Mario: The Origami King (Video)
Paper Mario: The Origami King is coming out in July for Nintendo Switch Or. To say I’m excited about this game would be an understatement. I love the Paper Mario series! And this new one looks amazing. Need another look at the game? Here’s a new trailer! Please come back after you watch it for some thoughts on it.
Wow! Paper Mario: The Origami King looks fantastic.
The graphics remind me a ton of Thousand Year Door and even other Mario games like Mario Odyssey. Color Splash was a great looking game but Origami King looks even better.
And then there’s the gameplay! I love how this new game looks to have a ton of things to do. So many different environments were shown in the trailer. The game looks to have a lot of exploration. Then there’s the mini-games! A shooting mini-game, fishing, a submarine, Toad finding, and more. It looks like Paper Mario players won’t be bored.
As for the game’s battle system, it looks pretty good. I like the strategic aspect of it. Boss battles especially look like they might be challenging. I’m not sure how I feel about the battles having a time limit though. I hope its not too restrictive.
Overall, this new trailer shows a ton more of the game. I’m even more excited about Paper Mario: The Origami King!
