Smash Bros Direct and Treehouse Live Will Air This Thursday (11/1)

Nintendo announced a Smash Bros Direct and a Treehouse Live for this Thursday. We have more details below and my thoughts on the two events.

The Super Smash Bros Ultimate¬†Direct will air on Thursday (11/1) at 10 a.m. ET and be 40 minutes long. After its over, a Treehouse Live will air and feature Smash Bros, Pokemon Lets Go!, Yoshi’s Crafted World, and Diablo 3.

I can’t say I’m excited about a 40 minute long Direct just for Smash Bros. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I think Nintendo has already shown more than enough about the game. Do fans actually want them to show everything? Plus, I can just imagine a 40 minute Direct will focus on some aspects of the game a bit too long.

As for the Treehouse Live, that is more interesting to me. I want to see the Yoshi’s Crafted World and Diablo 3 footage especially. I know alot of people will be excited to see more of Pokemon Lets Go too.

I’m not sure if I’ll watch the 40 minute Smash Direct but I bet it will be well watched. The Treehouse Live should be too.

Are you excited to see more Super Smash Bros Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch or were you hoping to see something else?
