Toronto Nintendo Switch Event Very Successful

From all account, the Nintendo Switch event in Toronto was a fantastic experience for those lucky enough to attend. It all kicked off Friday for a press and VIP event with minimal crowds and lots of accsess to some of the biggest games coming to the Nintendo Switch around launch. Although a regular staffer from GamesReviews was not able to attend, friend of the site, Eugene Huo was able to attend on our behalf. Check out his interview with a Nintendo of Canada rep below!

According to Eugene’s twitter, it seemed like the Switch was everything we thought it was going to be, based on the numerous Nintendo presentations that have occurred over the last half year. The tone of the event in Toronto seemed enthusiastic, even throughout the general public days on Saturday and Sunday. While lines did become an issue on the latter two days – as per chatter online – the majority of people seemed to enjoy themselves.

The nay sayers were still present, with many lamenting that Nintendo was stuck to much in the past with their gyroscope controls still very present. However, the complaints seemed minimal, and the Nintendo fans were out in full force.

If you had a chance to attend a Nintendo Switch even in your area, we’d love to hear from you! Let us know!
