One of the Best Tales Games Launching This Friday

The Tales series from Bandai Namco has been impressive since it’s first release a long time ago, and the company continues to release titles, primarily on the PS4, and primarily first in Japan. While Tales fans in Japan have been playing all the great content from Tales of Vesperia for years, it’s time for a western audience to get all the goodies in one complete package. When Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition launches this Friday in North America, gamers will be able to play one of the best Tales experiences of all time!

I can still remember a lot of my journey through Vesperia when I originally played the title on the Xbox 360 all those years ago. The characters were impressive, the story arc was fantastic, and the game screamed Tales while adding in a few new welcomed flares and quality of life improvements. With the Xbox brand struggling in Japan, this was a huge get for Microsoft. Having exclusive access to a Tales game on their console, in the Japanese and North America markets. And for a while, this was your only access into the world of Vesperia.

Fast forward to 2019, and you have millions of gamers who have never played this title before, or perhaps, have never played a Tales game before. While we hope to review on the Nintendo Switch, as having this game portable seems like the best, ideal experience possible, this game could once again face some challenges as it goes up against other reprints from Nintendo, including New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe and (albeit on Nintendo 3DS) Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr’s Journey.

Don’t pass up on this experience. If you are a fan of RPG games, and have an interest in Japanese anime and story telling, I believe this will be a great experience. With over 80 hours into the Xbox 360 version of the game, I’m sure this title will provide hours of entertainment!
