Top Rated PC Games
When choosing which game, you want to invest your time, energy and even money into, it is important to know where to look. Any gamer knows how hard it could be to try out every other game out there only to be disappointed with the quality of the game or any other feature of the game you chose. It is therefore crucial to have a review you can trust, by people who value gaming just as much as you do in order to get you the game of your dream and we as Games review does just that. Here are some of our top-rated PC games.
As Mission Impossible: Fallout has decisively proven, there’s nothing wrong with sticking to a formula if it’s good and you know how to build on it. Tomb Raider had a great formula: its electrifying 2013 reboot was a bold, tight reinvention of Lara Croft’s adventures for modern times, while 2015’s sequel Rise of the Tomb Raider expanded on the idea and upped the action movie excess
High emotions, high stakes, high ledges – Shadow of the Tomb Raider ties up a three-game story arc that looked to reinvent one of the most influential characters in video game history, without ditching everything that actually makes the Tomb Raider series fun.
The end of the trilogy is as concerned about Lara’s personal growth as it is the natural disasters afflicting the places she visits – Mexico, Peru, and the lost Incan city of Paititi – but with some terrific platforming and a host of new traversal mechanics shaking things up. Shadow of the Tomb Raider was intended as the game where Lara ‘becomes the Tomb Raider she was meant to be’, and her skillset has been upgraded accordingly.
This game is among the top-rated PC games, however while playing it, you might want to have the backup of a good gaming VPN. This is because there are many perks that come with having a good VPN while gaming. For Instance, IPVanish IPVanish its own network and infrastructure, and this shows in terms of performance. IPVanish also offers a good number of servers in over 60 countries, and it’s easy to find a solid server – indeed you can sort by ping time, and usage options which allow you to hunt specifically for servers tailored for gaming.
The FIFA series is one that’s in a constant and rapid state of evolution. Whether it’s via annual updates or the “even-numbered years” that coincide with World Cups and European Championships, EA Canada has consistently refined the series throughout this generation. FIFA 13 occupies an interesting space in the hierarchy of this progression. Is it a dramatic shift from FIFA 12’s colossal engine overhaul? No. But there’s enough here to make the leap to this year’s game worthwhile.
In FIFA 13, your AI-led teammates are more intuitive about getting themselves into the right pockets of space, and visually, it’s even more apparent when one of them is offsides and struggling to get back in the right place. It’s a vast improvement compared to past games in which they’d stand static and wait to be “activated” into a run. Plus, dribbling feels better, thanks to some refinements to how you trap and shield the ball so that you can weave past a defender. It feels like a much more fluid process than in past games.
FIFA 13 is a blast to play. It’s not a revolutionary transformation for the series, but it does a fine job nipping and tucking many of the nascent features that FIFA 12 introduced. There are some annoyances–the physics engine feels like it’s been overly tinkered, and the shortcomings of career modes become apparent when you step out of Europe’s top leagues. However, it succeeds at one key task that it sets out to do: render FIFA 12 obsolete. You can wear last year’s jersey, but you won’t want to play last year’s game any longer.
Like many online services, where you are geographically will affect what services and benefits you can buy and enjoy from the FIFA franchise of video games. EA Sports controls the usage and purchasing of its software and services based on your perceived geographic location.
For this reason, VPNs can be useful in overcoming these geographical restrictions for both purchasing FIFA games as well as for using their online gameplay facilities.
Another important benefit of using a VPN for FIFA is especially practical if you use some of the online features of FIFA, including those available in FIFA 18, as well as FIFA Online 3, and FIFA mobile. If you travel abroad often, or if you want to access region-specific features, a VPN is just right for you.
The walking Dead
This game casts us as Lee Everett, a convicted murderer on his way to the big house. However, before Mr. Everett can trade his denim shirt for an orange jumpsuit, the zombie apocalypse breaks out and gives Lee new goals in life: namely, surviving at all costs and protecting a little girl named Clementine.
It is these two goals that make The Walking Dead: The Game the juggernaut that it is. See, The Walking Dead is an adventure game, but it’s not the kind of adventure game you’ve come to expect. Sure, you’ll need to figure out how to get a radio working and how to distract walkers here and there, but the real draw here is a “choose your own adventure.”
When it comes to actually playing The Walking Dead: The Game, Telltale whipped up a new adventure control scheme. For choices, text pops up and you have to jump on it, but for controlling Lee, one stick controls the character and the other controls an onscreen reticle you can use to interact with objects and people. When the action gets going and you need to shoot zombies or fight off walkers, it can be jarring to use the reticle stick to line up shots, but that’s part of the fun – the game catches you off guard with things and you have to scramble to the foreign control in order to survive.
There are a couple of things you need to pay attention to if you want to muster the best gaming experience, you need to be as secure as possible and hopefully anonymous as well especially for online games. To achieve these aspects of security a solid VPN is a necessity and finding a good VPN for gaming that won’t put you out of budget shouldn’t be too hard.
