Dark Souls Nintendo Switch Release Date Pushed to Late Summer

There has been a lot of chatter around the pending release of Dark Souls on Nintendo Switch, and fans were eagerly awaiting May so they could get their hands on a title that has been critically acclaimed across all other platforms. Unfortunately, that release date has been smashed, and the company is looking to release it later this summer instead, alongside the Solaire amiibo.

According to Bandai Namco,

The new release timing gives the development team the time needed to make sure Nintendo Switch players can fully appreciate the true DARK SOULS experience anytime and anywhere, thanks to the unique portable nature of the Nintendo Switch console.

While we don’t have an exact date right now, expect an announcement leading up to E3 – or at the latest, at E3 2018. Are you still excited for Dark Souls on Nintendo Switch? If that was the next game you were going to buy, are you looking at something else now?
