The Disney Afternoon Collection Is Coming In April

When I was a kid, I was watched all of the Disney Afternoon cartoons: Ducktales, Chip N’Dale, Talespin, Darkwing Duck, and more. I never did play the NES games that were released based on them. Years later, I got to play the Ducktales Remastered game on Wii U and loved it. And now a collection of the NES games has been revealed and it looks very cool. Please take a look at the following trailer and then come back for my thoughts on the games.

The Disney Afternoon Collection will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and STEAM on April 18th. The title will be digital only.

I like the look of all of these games. I love platformers, so I’m excited to play each of them. I hear Talespin isn’t a platformer but it looks very good too. I also like the extras that are included, especially the behind the scenes items!

But I do have one complaint in regards to this game! All of the games were originally NES games and so you would think that this collection would be coming to a Nintendo system. Currently though, Disney Afternoon Collection isn’t planned for the Switch or the 3DS. I do not understand this at all. Why is Nintendo being left out?

Here’s hoping that Capcom will bring the Disney Afternoon Collection to the Switch and/or the 3DS! What do you think? Will Capcom bring this collection to a Nintendo system? Will you buy the game on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
