If you've followed GamesReviews.com for a while now, you'll understand that we have a huge love for Pokémon. Whether it be the video games, the TV shows, the card game, and yes, even the movies, if it has to deal with Pokémon, we are really excited about it. Today, the Pokémon Company announced that they would be releasing Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us, which will be coming to select theatres world wide November 24, 26, 28 and December 1st. Here are a few more of the details, courtesy of Pokémon public relations:

After the Pokémon presentation last night where Pokémon Quest was revealed, I quickly hopped onto the Nintendo eShop and downloaded the game right away and took it for a spin. As a completely different experience than any past Pokémon titles - outside of perhaps Pokémon Rumble - I wasn't sure what to expect! Where my early impressions of this free-to-start experience good? For those who are still playing Pokémon Sun / Moon and Pokémon Utlra Sun / Ultra Moon, The Pokémon Company has more great news for you. On June 1st, players will be able to access the Legendary Pokémon Shiny Zygarde via an in-game gift!

Last week while away on family vacation, I was able to dive into the themed decks for the latest Pokemon Trading Card Game expansion, Forbidden Light. Although neither of decks incorporate the Prism Star cards, both include a number of cards that will be great for building your own custom decks. Are these decks, on their own, worth playing with? Thanks to our wonderful friends over at the Pokémon Company, we were given the wonderful opportunity to review the latest expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card game, Pokémon Sun & Moon: Ultra Prism. The set not only includes 150 cards to add to your collection, but it also introduces 6 Prism Star cards that brings a new gameplay element to the Pokémon Trading Card Game. We all know that a Pokémon game is coming to the Nintendo Switch, hopefully in 2018, but the details of such a game are currently in the dark. Will it be an upgraded version of what has been working on handhelds for 20+ years, or will it be something in the vein of Pokémon Snap? Having Pokémon games on the eShop has been great, and allowed me to go back and revisit some of my favorite titles in the series. Like the Mario Bros games, Pokémon titles seem to be the games you tend to buy over and over again if you are a huge fan; with the launch of Pokémon Crystal on the Nintendo eShop this January, I'll be able to add an other Pokémon classic to my collection of Pokémon games. The typical Pokémon generation of video games has been highlighted by two initial releases, followed by one ‘complete’ release. You had Pokémon Red and Blue, and then Pokémon Yellow. In a press release sent out earlier this week, the Pokémon Company detailed some new premium cards that will be coming to retail very soon, and will have a full review of the new sets soon when they arrive! The Pokémon Trainers XY Collection will include 12 more full art cards, a metal coin - remember, most other packages include plastic coins! - and much more!
