Thanks to Nintendo of Canada, we have begun playing our way through The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on the Nintendo Switch. As you would assume from a remaster, the new game is very much in line with the original and DX releases, with a few notable, quality of life changes. When playing through Hyrule Warriors over the weekend, I quickly realized something that I've probably known for a long time: Hyrule Warriors is a love letter to all the previous Zelda console titles, and really brings all those nostalgic feels back when playing in specific areas, using specific characters, and hearing specfici tunes.
